Day 01:   Arrive Chennai

Arrive at Chennai. Upon arrival you will be met by our representative, after a traditional ‘Swagat’ our representative would assist you and introduce the tour and hand over the documents to you.

You will receive and transfer to hotel. Check into the hotel and free for leisure.

Day 02:   Chennai / Kancheepuram / Mahabalipuram (120 km / 02 hrs)

After breakfast, you will drive to Kancheepuram or Kanchi is a temple city, which served as the Capital city of the Pallava Kingdom. It is also known by "The City of Thousand Temples". Administrative headquarters of Kanchipuram district, it is located 72 kilometers from Chennai, the capital city of Tamil Nadu. Kanchipuram is considered one of the seven holiest cities to the Hindus of India and in Hinduism, a ketra is a sacred ground, a field of active power, a place where moksha, final release can be obtained.
After visit Kancheepuram, continue drive to Mahabalipuram. Arrive at Mahabalipuram, you will transfer to hotel. Check into the hotel and free for leisure.

Mahabalipuram or Mamallapuram, was an ancient port city on the Coromandel coast built by the Pallava Dynasty in the 7th century. It was named after the cruel demon king Mahabali, who was slayed by Goddess Durga, and is an important World Heritage Site today. Mahabalipuram lies on the Coromandel Coast which faces the Bay of Bengal. This is an elegant place to watch which a well established sea port was during the 7th and 10th centuries of the Pallava dynasty.

Day 03:   Mahabalipuram / Pondicherry by surface (100 km / 2:30 hrs)

After breakfast, you will take a half day sightseeing tour the Shore Temple, which is a feast for the eyes. It is as ancient as 1,400 years. The temple built in honour of Lord Vishnu, Thirukadalmallai, is another temple to see. There are five chariots here called Pancha Pandava Rathas and each named after the five. The monuments here are built in the Dravidian style of architecture and made out of a single stone each; Arjuna's Penance is a massive bas-relief replete with meticulous carvings that include a family of elephants and monkeys. The carvings on the bas-relief are the stories from the legends of India and the Panchatantra and The Varaha cave is one such cave which is actually a rock-cut mandapam (hall) and features two incarnations of Vishnu which are Varaha (boar) and Vamana (dwarf).
After sightseeing of Mahabalipuram, you will drive to Pondicherry. Arrive at Pondicherry, transfer to hotel. Check into the hotel and free for leisure.

Day 04:   Pondicherry / Tanjore by surface (180 km / 4 hrs)

After breakfast, you will take sightseeing tour of Pondicherry. Pondicherry, known as ‘The French Riviera of the East’, was a French colony until it was integrated into India as a Union territory in 1954. The town still remarkably preserves its French heritage in its many colonial monuments, cuisines, language, customs and traditions. Places of tourist interest include the Sree Aurobindo Ashram, Auroville, The French Institute and the Raj Nivas.
In afternoon, you will drive to Tanjore. Arrive at Tanjore, transfer to hotel. Check into the hotel and free for leisure.

Day 05:   Tanjore sightseeing

After breakfast, you proceed for sightseeing of Thanjavur (Tanjore) - famous for the Brihadeeswara Temple has gopurams over 90 ft. (27 m) high and are exquisitely sculpted. They lead to a vast courtyard in which the main temple stands guarded by two sentries carved out of single stones. Facing the sanctum is a nandi (bull) Shiva's favorite vehicle. The corridors around the sanctum have many sculptures as well as Chola frescoes which were recently discovered. The Palace and the remains of the fort that surround it can still be seen. Members of the former royal family of Thanjavur still occupy some apartments in the inner recesses but the Palace is now mainly used as an art gallery.

Day 06:   Tanjore / Trichy/ Srirangam / Madurai (120 km / 03 hrs)

After breakfast, you will drive to Madurai. On the way visit Trichy – Rock Fort Temple, Tiruvanaikkaval Temple, Elakurichi and Vayaloor. After visit Trichy, continue drive and also visit the island of Srirangam across the River Kaveri - 3 miles (5 km) away. The temple here is practically a town in itself with several residential streets within its 1 sq. mile together with a number of shopping streets. Its annual winter festival attracts thousands of devotees. The visitor can wander around freely in most parts of the temple.
After visit, continue drive to Madurai. Arrive at Madurai, transfer to hotel. Check into the hotel and free for leisure.

Day 07:   Madurai sightseeing

After breakfast, visit Great Meenaskhi Temple Dedicated to the consort of Lord Shiva with its towering Gopurams, rising high above the surrounding township. Later visit the Tirumala Nayak Palace - a gracious building in the Indo-Saracenic style, famous for the stucco work on its domes and arches. Also visit the Algar Hills and Tirupara Kundran Rock Temple.
Evening enjoy the night closing ceremony of the temples (Hotel/Temple/Hotel by Auto Rickshaws).

Day 08:   Madurai / Thekkaddy by surface (145 km / 03 hrs)

After breakfast, you will drive to Periyar (Thekkady). Arrive at Periyar, transfer to Hotel. Check into the Hotel and free for leisure.
In afternoon visit to sanctuary with boat cruise:- One and Half boat trips on the lake are the usual way of touring the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, situated in the Thekkady district of Tamil Nadu bordering with Kerala, Periyar Wild Life Sanctuary is one of the most important and frequently visited in India.
You can even set upon a walk through the plantations filled with the heady fragrance of fresh spice. A boat safari on the Periyar Lake extends a lifetime's chance to spot exotic wildlife in its natural habitat. Like the eccentric bathing habits of the wild elephants that come down to the lake.

Day 09:   Thekkaddy / Munnar by surface (90 km / 02:30 hrs)

After breakfast, you will drive to Munnar. Arrive at Munnar, transfer to hotel. Check into the hotel and free for leisure.
Munnar is one of the popular hill station in India, Munnar are its remarkable ambiance, lush green tea gardens, mesmerizing lakes, dense forests and a cool salubrious climate. Munnar is located at the confluence of three mountain streams, Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. Munnar are the Nilgiri Tahrs (Mountain Goats), Langurs and Elephants. Among the exotic flora found in the forests and grasslands here, is the Neelakurinji. This flower which bathes the hills in blue every twelve years.

Day 10:   Munnar sightseeing

After breakfast, you will visit: - Mattupetty Dam
The beautiful hill station of Mattupetty is a 13 km drive away from Munnar. The Mattupetty Lake and Dam is enroute to Top Station and is situated at an altitude of 1700 m. You will often see people enjoying a lazy picnic here. Visitors love the panoramic view of the dam surrounded by wooden hills and tea plantations.
Lock Heart Gap (13 km from Munnar) This is an ideal place for adventure tourism and trekking. The fresh mountain air, the mist-clad hills and panoramic view make it worth a visit.
Photo Point
Photo Point is a good place to take snaps in the tea garden. Situated at a height of 1700 Mts, Mattupetty is famous for its highly specialised dairy farm, the Indo-swiss live stock project. Echo Point is another attraction where you can enjoy the natural echo phenomenon.
Shooting Point
Shooting Point is the place where many south Indian movies have been shorted. Kundale Lake is very beautiful and excellent for boating.

Day 11:   Munnar / Cochin by surface (140 km / 3 hrs)

After breakfast, you will drive to Cochin. Arrive at Cochin, transfer to hotel. Check into the hotel and free for leisure.
In afternoon take a tour of the satellite towns of Kochi (Cochin) and Ernakulam comprises visits to the Dutch Palace, the Jewish Synagogue - (which remains closed on Saturdays) St. Francis Church and the Santa Cruz Basilica. While driving along the coastline, at the Harbour's mouth, one can also view the unique and still-in-use "Chinese Fishing Nets" which were introduced by the Chinese traders in the 14th Century.
Also visit the Fort Kochi area where you can walk through the historical Dutch and Portuguese buildings. Some parts of this nearly 500-year-old Fort are still amazingly well preserved. Evening Enjoy Kathakkali Dance Show - Kathakkali is the ancient classical dance from of Kerala which is a grand mix of dramatics, vocal and instrumental music, dancing and mine.

Day 12:   Cochin / Alleppey Houseboat by surface (60 Km / 01 hr)

After breakfast, you will depart for Alleppey by surface, on arrival check in at house boat.House boat jetty to board house boat (Kettuvallom) on the World famous Backwaters of Kerala. Boat cruise on the backwaters gives an opportunity to behold the great charm of this city that nature has endowed upon it. You get pretty and intimate vignettes of local life and people living in these backwaters.

Day 13:   Alleppey / Kovalam by surface (160 Km / 03:30 hrs)

After breakfast, you will drive to Kovalam. Arrive at Kovalam, transfer to hotel. Check into the hotel and free for leisure. In afternoon, you proceed for a half day city tour or any place nearby as per your interest to visit the iconic spots Old Travancore Kingdom’s capital Trivandrum includes, Napier Museum, Sri Chithira Art Gallery, Zoo, Padmanabhapuram Temple and adjacent Palace etc.
Kovalam: - the international beach destination of Kerala with shallow water for swimming and other water sports activities. After lunch enjoy the beach till the sun set in the Arabian Sea.
